“I remember it like it was 2500 BC,” jokes Beer Aficionado and Photojournalist Ale Sharpton (Dennis Malcolm Byron) regarding the day he was wrapped in gauze like a mummy during his “I’m A Beast” photo shoot. “My main man Eric Nine and I discussed how writing and the invention of beer dated back to the times of Ancient Egypt, so it was a perfect correlation to what I do, know and sip best.” This particular summer day was a hot one, but Eric, photographer extraordinaire Michael Moore, future “Beast” Morgan Garcia (En Fuego), and Ale all persevered to eventually create the masterpiece, “Wrap City.”

In Atlanta, it ain’t hip-hop if beast promoter, MC and hype man Andre Lett aka DRES Tha BEATnik isn’t involved in some way, shape or form. Besides making sure the hottest clubs in Georgia’s capital remain, well, hot, he has a history of being a Beast in lectures, hosting concerts, and making albums (including his debut Have Mic…Will Travel — the first all-beatbox-produced rap album ever). No wonder D.R.E.S. (Divine Real Essence of Sound) is one of the original 12 Beasts of the I’m A Beast Collection known as “Sick Mind”!

Simply put, whether he is wearing the cloak as super producer 9th Wonder, lyrist 9thmatic, or chillin’ in his Clark Kent mode as Patrick Douthit, this man is a Beast. Ever since he sunk his fangs into the world of hip-hop with the seminal God’s Stepson—the fully remixed album of Nas’ 2002 project God’s Son—9th Wonder has taken his stellar musicianship to monstrous proportions. After launching the classic album The Listening with his world renowned North Carolina brethren, Little Brother, he has collaborated with everyone from Erykah Badu to David Banner, Mary J. Blige, Lil Wayne and Jay-Z to name a few. Continuing his onslaught in the entertainment industry, Mr. Wonder just hosted the premiere of the film directed by Kenneth Price documenting a year of his life suitably called “The Wonder Year” followed by rave reviews. Beast Sighting!! – Theory Hazit

Thearthur Washington, better known to most in underground hip-hop circles as the rhymesayer, beatmaker, record player, Theory Hazit.

Theory is a triple threat artist who’s just as comfortable behind the boards as a producer and deejay with influences from J. Dilla to RZA as he is behind the mic with his charismatic persona and smooth delivery. The 2007 Scribble Jam Beat Down Champ has a gang of albums under his belt and countless cameos on others albums as well. Theory Hazit is a respected contributor to the underground scene having toured Internationally and shared stages with legends in the music industry. He has built a street credible following while uncompromisingly standing firm in his beliefs.

In other words… Theory Hazit is a beast!
